Walking Home Part II

As we continued our walk home from the beach we came to the ice cream shop.
POPS is a very nice and clean ice cream shop and the ice cream is excellent.  The problem is, the ice cream costs $2 per scoop.
In some places along the street they have colorful concrete benches of all kinds of designs.

So far Gail has refused to buy any beef here except some hamburger we bought in the grocery store the other day.  There is a butcher shop here that is supposed to have good meat imported from other countries.

Maybe we will give it a try one of these days.

Along the way we found a Farmacia that had Boogie Boards in the window.   We checked them out and they were a very good price--$20.  We purchased two and carried them home.
When we took the plastic wrapping off of them we found they were nothing but styrofoam with an outer layer of cloth.  That afternoon we took them down to the ocean and mine broke in half on the very first wave.    I will have to find one that is much more sturdy.

We made it home and it was a very nice walk.  (That is Gail down there under the tree.  She almost always carries a large cloth bag or her backpack.)
