I have had a slight case of bronchitis so I was not feeling real peppy for our trip. I went to see the doctor a few days before our trip and he gave me some medicine including some antibiotics. He told me the only negative reaction to the antibiotic might be a "loose stool". I took the pills for several days with no problem. However, as soon as we got in the forty five minute immigration line at San Jose, Costa Rica, the negative affects kicked in. Everything turned out fine but there were some very anxious moments. I could use a few clichés like, "touch and go" , "came out alright", etc. but I think you get the picture.
We arrived last evening and it actually rained on us as we drove the one hour from the airport to our condo at Jaco. It was really nice in that it cooled things off a lot. We were both pooped--another possible result of the antibiotics. For those who are interested, here is a video of the place where we are staying--https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbRlPd2A3vs
It is a year or so old and they no longer have the restaurant on site like it says in the video. Otherwise, it is very accurate--if you can believe Caldwell Banker.
Today started with a walk to the grocery store to get some of the basics. Then, one the hardest things, we relaxed by the pool.
