I have had a slight case of bronchitis so I was not feeling real peppy for our trip.  I went to see the doctor a few days before our trip and he gave me some medicine including some antibiotics.  He told me the only negative reaction to the antibiotic might be a "loose stool".  I took the pills for several days with no problem.  However, as soon as we got in the forty five minute immigration line at San Jose, Costa Rica, the negative affects kicked in.  Everything turned out fine but there were some very anxious moments.  I could use a few clichés like, "touch and go" , "came out alright", etc. but I think you get the picture.
We arrived last evening and it actually rained on us as we drove the one hour from the airport to our condo at Jaco.  It was really nice in that it cooled things off a lot.   We were both pooped--another possible result of the antibiotics.
For those who are interested, here is a video of the place where we are staying--https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbRlPd2A3vs
It is a year or so old and they no longer have the restaurant on site like it says in the video.  Otherwise, it is very accurate--if you can believe Caldwell Banker.

Today started with a walk to the grocery store to get some of the basics.  Then, one the hardest things, we relaxed by the pool.

Gail reading at the pool.

We had arranged for a fisherman to come to the complex to sell us some fresh fish --Sea Bass.   However, when we finally caught up with him, he was sold out.  We will definitely try again tomorrow.  (Sea Bass costs about $4 a pound and is caught daily.)
The next really exciting thing we did was buy new bicycles.  Since I did not get pictures of them I will tell about them the next time.  We did ride them to the beach to see the sunset.  The beach is only about a half block away but we went down the beach a ways to see some old friends.  Here are couple pictures of the sunset:

Gail is cooking dinner.  We bought a half a chicken for $1.80 a pound.  Gail cut the meat off the bone and fried it on the stove.  We also had rice and a beautiful green salad.  Now to relax and see how many English TV channels there are.  After while a quick jump in the pool and then off to bed.
